Albert in the kitchen and dining room was spectacular. He kept the food supplied and the spaces all very clean/organized. All the front desk staff were accommodating and pleasant. This was a good location for our purposes, prices fair. I would definitely stay there again. The rooms were clean and spacious

Room and service was very good. Additional "parking fee" was unexpected. Seems kinda wonky, $11.50 per day per vehicle

It's a clean and spacious hotel that's close by CSUS. The room is nice but it's a bit loud. All sorts of things spool on and off throughout the night. Walls are pretty thin and we can hear every step people make in the room right above us. The thermostat is all digital and not dimmable so it's too bright for my taste. Bring an eye mask if you're sensitive to light like me. There's coffee/tea/hot water in the lobby and a hot breakfast from 6-10.

I booked this hotel because last time I visited Sacramento I stayed at a different Hampton location and I had a great experience. When I arrived at this hotel the front desk person was very nice and helpful, the room was very clean, the only issue is in the morning I didn’t realize breakfast ended at 10 and I showed up like a minute before closing and the man picking up all the food was very rude because I was trying to hurry up and serve something for my kids. I understand that there is a closing time but it’s the attitude that counts, all I got form myself was 2 muffins because he was so mad and once we seated to eat whatever we could grab and he closed I noticed employees pass by with plates full of food lol.

I used to work at a Hampton years ago, & this brand new one is gigantic & STUNNING. The sulfate (etc) - free shampoo, conditioner, bodywash & lotion they provide is amazing. And every single thing is so clean. I remember from when I worked at mine, the protocol to literally get down on your knees to look for any stray hair on the bathroom floor after it's been cleaned...Hampton takes cleanliness very seriously. The beds are comfy & don't just have a thin blanket on top of a sheet like most hotels (what's up with that anyway?), it's almost a full duvet, which adds cozy comfort without being too heavy. My friend locked the key in the car the next day (oops!), & they gave us as long as we needed to check out - 1pm by the time a locksmith got the key out - without charging us, which helped with all that stress so much! They were also genuinely kind about it, which was a welcome change. That was our 3rd night in a hotel in a row because we're moving across multiple states. The hotel we were at the night before (not a Hampton), wanted to charge us for a late checkout - just 12pm, nothing crazy - & the front desk person was extremely cranky for no reason. So a friendly, calm, sane person who genuinely understood our needs was such a relief, haha. The location is right by a lot of public transportation, so not the safest to walk around. But the hotel's property is gated (use your keyboard to enter & exit), well lit & I felt safe getting things out of my car alone at night...wouldn't recommend doing that if you can avoid it of course, but still. I always have the easiest, safest, cleanest stay at any Hampton, but this one is my new favorite by far. Definitely worth the pricier stay if you can afford it
